2010 Charity Canoe Trip Success

After six months of planning and preparation Eye Feel Good realised the dream of paddling from our home town of Antrim to the North Coast in Canadian canoes. The trip took us across Lough Neagh and up the River Bann. We spent two nights camping under the stars. Once the money from this event is all gathered up we think we’ll be looking at an amazing figure. Watch this space.

We would like to thank everybody who supported us in this venture.

Special thanks must go to the following people.

John Hubbucks and Sarah Rutherford from Mobile Team Adventure. You guys kept us safe on the river. We couldn’t have achieved this without your professionalism, dedication, fantastic patience and sense of humour. You are the best.

Glenn Biesty and Steven Smyth from Castlerock Scout Troop. Wow! What can we say. The two camp sites that you guys setup where a home from home. Thanks Lads.

Martin Jordan, our camera man. We cannot wait to see the movie.

Last but not least the rest of the guys on the team. What a bunch of wonderful human beings! Well done lads, you’ve really done something that you can all be proud of. We hope you will treasure the memories of this trip forever and make a special place in your homes for the souvenir paddle that you received on Saturday.

So, that’s it. We’re all home safe and sound and already dreaming of 2011. If you would like to take part let us know.
